Crane to provide brake control system for new Pilatus PC-24 business jets

Crane Aerospace & Electronics has been selected by Pilatus Aircraft Ltd to provide the brake control system for the new PC-24 twin-engine business jet. The PC-24 is Pilatus’s first twin-engine business aircraft and their first-ever jet powered aircraft. It will seat up to ten passengers, be powered by Williams FJ44 engines and feature a cargo door similar to Pilatus’ PC-12 aircraft.

Crane selected to provide brake control system for C-2A Greyhound Cargo Aircraft

Crane has been selected by Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Navy to provide Crane’s brake control system with antiskid functionality for the C-2A Greyhound cargo aircraft. Crane’s Brake Control System will be part of the C-2A Greyhound Improved Braking System Program.

Happy 50th Anniversary to Work Opportunities

Crane congratulates the Work Opportunities organization on 50 years of service. Work Opportunities was established in 1963 in the basement of a Shaky’s Pizza Parlor. Starting with seven clients and two staff members, the organization has grown to serve almost 500 clients with 70 staff members throughout Snohomish and Whatcom counties.

Crane employees will be on hand to give an overview of the company and interact with students. This is the 18th annual career fair at Edmonds Community College.

Curb the Congestion is a partnership between Community Transit and Snohomish County to reduce traffic and encourage healthy travel options on congested roadways.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics has announced the approval of its SmartStem® Wireless Tire Pressure system for use on Boeing 747-400 aircraft. This approval represents the first certification for retrofitting SmartStem on large commercial aircraft. SmartStem technology is standard on Boeing 777 and 787 production aircraft.
