Attendees are invited to stop by Crane’s booth to see a demonstration of the SmartStem Wireless Tire Pressure System, which provides a fast and reliable method of checking aircraft tire pressure without gas loss.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics has announced the approval of its SmartStem® Wireless Tire Pressure system for use on Boeing 747-400 aircraft. This approval represents the first certification for retrofitting SmartStem on large commercial aircraft. SmartStem technology is standard on Boeing 777 and 787 production aircraft.

Mark Lukso, Regional Business Manager at Crane’s Lynnwood Wash. site will present at the WAMAs April 11th dinner meeting. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn in Mt. Kisco, New York from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Lukso will be speaking about Crane’s SmartStem Wireless Tire Pressure System, which provides a fast and reliable method of checking aircraft tire pressure without gas loss. SmartStem is designed to be easily retrofitted on existing aircraft.
March 25th, 2013 Shawn Crane Aerospace & Electronics has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its SmartStem® Wireless Tire Pressure System to be fitted on the Bombardier Q-Series aircraft (Dash 8 -100, -200, -300, and -400).

Crane Aerospace & Electronics has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its SmartStem® Wireless Tire Pressure System to be fitted on the Bombardier Learjet 40 and 45 aircrafts.

The 2013 Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Weapons & Tactics (WEPTAC) Conference is being held at Nellis AFB January 14-15. Crane’s SmartStem Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring System will be on display; attendees can get a hands-on demonstration of the innovative system.

The certification for the Learjet 40/45 system adds to the growing list of SmartStem Tire Pressure Sensors already certified for use on a variety of other business jets including Cessna Citation Sovereign, Citation X, Dassault Falcon 50, and Bombardier Learjet 60.
